LoudInk Terms of Service

Before this takes effect

This is a working draft for product review. Before publication, LoudInk will add its legal entity name, business address, governing law, and any jurisdiction-specific terms. Nothing on this page is effective until that final version is published.

The service

LoudInk provides a Mac app for on-device voice dictation and voice-driven computer use, plus related website, account, billing, and support services (together, the “Service”). The Service is designed to process microphone audio, transcripts, and polished text locally on your Mac during normal use.

Accounts, plans, and cancellation

Some features and usage allowances require a LoudInk account and paid plan. Prices, billing intervals, included allowances, and renewal details are presented before checkout. You can cancel a paid plan at any time through your account or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access remains available through the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Your use of LoudInk

You are responsible for the commands you give LoudInk and for reviewing actions before they are confirmed or carried out. Do not use the Service to violate law, interfere with others' systems, bypass access controls, impersonate others, or automate activity you are not authorized to perform. Keep your account credentials secure and do not share them outside your organization or household without permission.

Computer-use features

Computer-use features can open apps, navigate websites, and carry out approved steps on your Mac. They may depend on macOS permissions, the state of an app or website, and third-party services outside LoudInk's control. You remain responsible for checking important destinations, inputs, and outcomes, particularly where an action could send, submit, purchase, delete, or otherwise change information.

Privacy and third-party services

Our Privacy Policyexplains what LoudInk processes locally and what limited account and billing metadata may be handled by the Service. When you direct LoudInk to interact with another app, website, or service, that third party's terms and privacy practices apply to your use of it.

Availability and updates

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service to maintain security, reliability, or product quality. We will use reasonable care in operating the Service, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every spoken instruction will produce a particular result.

Feedback and intellectual property

LoudInk and its software, design, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You keep ownership of your content. If you share feedback, you allow us to use it to improve LoudInk without an obligation to you.

Legal limits and changes

The final terms will include applicable warranty disclaimers, liability limits, dispute-resolution terms, and consumer-rights notices. Nothing in those terms will limit rights that cannot legally be limited. If we make a material change after publication, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required.
